The map panels are quite
frankly stunning. The graphics are nice and crisp, with new art
for trees and surf (and many other terrain features as well).
The panels don't have to be trimmed, which is a huge plus. These
maps are just amazing, and are way beyond my expectations. The
large hexes are a huge bonus, too. Your historical paper maps
are some of the best, and these panels are really nice as well.
Plus it was fun setting it all up.

I got my big box today,
and I am just overwhelmed by the scope of the monster ... Beautiful
maps and large hexes (thank you very much) a'm happily slipping
things into page protectors and digesting this whopper slowly--as
a gourmet offering deserves.
TARAWA ASLCOMP AND ATS
MONSTER MAP UPGRADE:
This is just insane. The largest map ever published, and that
is an understatement. The graphic shows counters in relation to
the hex size - needless to say, stacking? What stacking. You will
need to be creative since the playing area is more along the lines
of a model train layout than a board wargame - 12' FEET long by
over 8' FEET wide ... but the way Betio is apportioned .. you
can reach EVERYWHERE from the sides.
A once in a lifetime opportunity,
limited time only, ONLY for owners of the TARAWA modules, ASLComp
or ATS. You can only ADD this map set to your Tarawa order, it
cannot be used to replace the map that comes with the game.
