COMBAT! RANGERS is two products in one. You get a complete, brand new Combat! Game System module depicting the action in the hedgerows of Pointe du Hoc in keeping with the Combat! philosophya complete game in every package. You'll need two ten-sided dice, in two different colors, to play COMBAT! RANGERS. Inside COMBAT! RANGERS you also receive the long-awaited Combat! Normandy UPGRADE KIT, providing all the counters, play aids and rules to play ALL of your previous Normandy scenarios. Yes, you'll get those Jeeps from Combat! Diary #1 in die-cut counter form and lots more! There's more to this module than meets the eye. New weapons are introduced to the system in counter form, including the Panzerfaust 60, Panzerschreck, M4A1 Sherman, Browning Automatic Rifle, among others. More importantly, the system has been streamlined and improved, taking into account your demands for increased playability, ease of use and downright fun. We've even made the system more solitaire friendly for those late-night solo sessions. Above left is the red folio. Below are some of the new counters. They are 1/2" and 5/8" in size, not the size shown on screen. But those are the real deal below, blown up to show the detail. All are the real thing from the actual graphic files printed to make the counters.

![]() The Firepower Factors Table has been improved, and the entire ordnance High Explosive presentation changed to what is perhaps the most streamlined ever. The DFET (Direct Fire Effects Tables) also receive a new treatment, with DFET and HE now working together hand-in-glove. The flow of the action is still built around the acclaimed free-form IMPULSE system. And other systems have been streamlined to move things along with more action...and intensity...than before. Move that Sherman down the hedgerow-ed lane, or fire off your Panzerfaust...or bring down an artillery strike...in the order you choose. That's the freedom to create your own tactical-level work of 'art de combat' using the CGS. And we say let freedom from 'phase-prison' ring! The scenarios are now presented on a single sheet of coated heavyweight card each. The actions are the ultimate in detail, right down to the individual BAR gunners.
